Mother and daughter reunited after a devastating typhoon

Last November 8, 2013, Tanuan, Leyte, Philippines was badly hit by the typhoon. Ines Hervè who was in the Pacific Island of New Caledonia heard the news and got worried knowing her mother, Rosita, was living in the area. Upon hearing the news, she immediately contacted her mom but it was unsuccessful. The following day she tried calling again but there was still no news. Worried was all over her. The succeeding days, she tried calling again, but there was still no development.

She contacted and asked the help of the Philippine Red Cross in Tacloban City, Leyte, to locate her mother. Decided to see her mom, she flew to the Philippines and even volunteered in the search operation. And the moment she landed in Manila, she got the very good news that her mom is alive. She knew and felt that her mom was waiting for her. Her mom survived a disaster, in good health without any wounds. After the reunion with Rosita, Ines decided to stay in the Philippines and be a volunteer to help other people in need.
